What size tires are you running now? 225/60/16? The ones inthe link are going to be short compared to the standard 225/60/16. so they will look small inthe large grand marquis wheel well. Need to know back spacing and hub bore size.

Not sure if the link will work, but this may help you with wheels..having a pre 03 model makes it harder. The suspension and offsets changed making it harder to put late model wheels on earlier years unless you use a spacer.

The wheels shown are on a 98 or older mustang, so I'd be willing to bet they would bolt right on to your 02 MGM with no problems.

This is what im thinking and the guy im buying them from said fitment will not be an issue ..the fronts are 17x9 with 255-40r17 rears are 17x10 285-40r17 rear wheel is 5-100/5-114.3(+20mm ) front rims are 5-100/5-114.3 (+35mm )

yea 225-60-16 .. don't know the back spacing nor hub size but they are on a 1998 mustang if that helps

They might need a 1/4 inch slip on spacer up front based onthe wheel info page on Crownvic.net..The tires are going to be short by like an inch or more so they wil look short and fat..the wheel wells on a cv/gm are huge compared to a mustang and they will look small unless you are lowering it by an inch or so, plus your speedo wil be off

They would look good, the rims..I just don;t prefer short tires on a large car..it looks out of place IMHO..if they are local to you,why not go over and try them on so to speak flr clearance, and looks.

Thanks for all the info and your time but im not a fan either of small tires on a big car ..he is local but an inch or so short and the speedo will be off makes me want to not buy them.:(

Keep this place as a reference when looking at tires. If you don;t want the speedometer off, then you need to find tires very close to your original diameter.

WHy not just buy your own new wheels and tires..Those xxr 531 wheels are not exclusive or anything and buy nittos inthe size you need. That craigslist deal was not like a "deal"..it was a tad cheaper than brand new
