It is a cute car for a "girl". I figured after getting out of your MM she would have gotten a Cooper S version of it.

That they are, but amazingly I fit very comfortably, both as passenger and driver. It has more room than any other car she test drove (including all of the Saturns)

It always surprises people when I climb out of it at nearly 6'6".

The Mini-Cooper S is a nice car. Lots of them running around down here. However, from a safety aspect I don't know how survivable they are in the battle with the SUVs. I cringe at the thought.

True. A friend who is 6'6" tested one of the minis and said it had more headroom than the MM even. I sure wish the seat would go down about another inch or two!
