Any interest in COT risers. I need to have a pair made for myself. I can order extras if there is interest.

I'm interested in a pair. Current ones don't fit as snug as I would like.

Cot riser
Needed to install a centrifugal charger like a procharger or novi. The crossover tube needs to be pushed up 3/4" to clear the supercharger.

I did not know this. I'm new.
I'll look under the hood tonight

I looked, did not see risers. :dunno: I think my cot was modified

My cot's mounting brackets mount on top of the alternator too :dunno:
If I had a clue I could make them for you guys.
Mongoose invented them and I believe Reinhart still has them for sale.

I would just modify the Xover tube.

That right there is a risky proposition.
And, juging from his new website, I am guessing he has moved on to stealing from the general automotive crowd since he pretty much wore out his welcome in the performance community.
The COT risers are actually quite genious.
Jerry could definitely make them.

Is this all that's needed?http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/16/erujynez.jpg
Verify height first.
It may need to be more than 3/4"

He doesn't list them on his web site.
I already modeled it and test fit a 3D print out. I was going to send it out to a rapid prototype house and have them made on a cnc lathe. I tweaked the gland notch to work with the same o-rings that the crossover tube itself uses. I don't think there is a big demand for these so I was just trying to help out and have a few sets made for others that may need them. I don't want to modify my crossover cause one day I may want to go back to stock. Crossover tubes are getting pretty hard to find.

Mine came with the kit I got from Dennis. Procharger P1SC units definitely need the modified cot or the risers. Were not the correct fit for the cot ends (circumference gap) but I made them work.

First gen kits came with the modified cot. The risers are only needed if someone picks up just a head unit or (take off) and has to piece together a centri system, that is if they don't want to go the cot delete route.
Definitely needed for the future boosters.

Do you have access to a cnc lathe? I can give you my step or iges etc. Any idea of what you would charge each?

Alright. My two riser spacers are .780 tall. Add those to the thickness of the alternator bracket (since now the cot bracket goes over instead of under it) which is .125 tell me the cot risers would have an effective rise of .905"
If you guys want I'll make them if not, :dunno:

Did you install them to come up with that number? When mine are installed there is 3/4 inches of space from the bottom of the cot mounting ears and the top of the alternator bracket. They were modeled from an original riser so I am sure they are correct but I changed the gland groove a little to use the Ford oring and I tightened up the fit a little.

I only measured the height of the spacer between my alternator bracket and the cot bracket. since the two brackets swapped places I added the thickness of the alternator bracket to what would be needed for the cot risers.
To answer your question no I did not install them, I didn't make them. I took measurements off my car

Genius! How much are you thinking?
I'll be installing a Procharger down the road. I am in the 'hunting for parts' stage. I like the idea of using COT risers rather than modifying the COT.
