Yeah I noticed that, I guess I should have reworded that as in so I guess they don't fit, but how close was it?

There is quite a bit of extra space in there to be modified.

Latest purchase.. A new gas tank for my 58' ford. The last time I had driven it was about 20 years ago, owned it for 30 years. Its a good solid western car with 52k on the clock, time to get it running again and drive it !!
