Need a new battery for my 03 MM

I hope this is in the right forum section...

I need a new battery, are there any suggestions from people who are happy with their current replacement?

The car was not started for around 6months and the battery died.

I got it boosted but after running for like 20 min I shut it off and the batt died all over again....

If I get it boosted again and let it run for an hour, and the battery is still no good, which company / battery size should I get?

+1, Motorcraft. No reason not to. I'm still cranking on the original one that came in my '04 Marquis. (replaced the Marauder's a couple years back)

+1 on the OEM battery from Motorcraft BXT-65-650 or up the CCA to the BXT-65-750.

A few years back I asked the same question simcha and the consensus was a to purchase a Motorcraft BXT-65-850; sure it costs a bit more than the 650-750 series, but it's well worth it IMHO, especially if you keep your Marauder in an indoor garage to avoid the elements such as snow and the like. W/ the harsh winter we just had, the 850 performed like a champ! :)

Motorcraft or Interstate. I personally use Interstate batteries as I've never had an early failure of one and I get them at cost price.

Last Interstate I had in the MM lasted about 5 years... this was with driving the vehicle 6-7 days a week for that 5 years.
