Traveling from the Best Western Premier to the showfield

Traveling into the show can be a hassle and time consuming if you get off I-81 at exit 52 and come in route that 95% of the cars will enter.

I would suggest coming in this way:

I have never sat in traffic more than 5 minutes and that's only because you can't make a left and have to make a right around a loop in a parking lot to get to Gate 3.

Looks good, but i thought it was better to go Cavalry road instead of Spring rd and enter the back gate #5, and end up right at Marauder Mountain.

I have left that way but you need to travel across a dirt gravel parking lot to get to Gate 5. Coming in Gate 3 with a shiny MM = no dust on said shiny car. Personal preference I suppose

Your way may work well on Sat as there is usually a lot of truck traffic at the 114 exit for some reason. Either way works great.

My preference too to come in Gate #3. Loose gravel and lots of dust entering at Gate #5. I might exit that way on Saturday after the show.

BTW thanks, Derek, for posting this up. You def don't want to get involved with the traffic nightmare in Carlisle at exit 52. Our "back route" takes about 22 minutes from the Central Hotel to the Showfield entrance.
