Dope mornin MercuryMarauder.net,
I be "Dabestof2014" on Yahoo Answers. I be goin ta reveal mah cousinz Crown Victoria (Panther)-based Shelby CV525 right now! My friggin cousin took picturez of his CV525 (see below) n' wants me ta publish dem here cuz there be a some muthafreaka -- his name is PuntyMario -- da ruffneck didn't confirm tha CV525z existence. Well, while it is legit dat Ford n' Shelby didn't release tha CV525 cuz they went bankrupt fo' not focusin a shïznitload on tha ghettofab Mustang (S550)-based GT500, they made at least 10 prototypes like dis one.
His carz pushed 525 horsepower outta its 4,605 cubic centimeter Modular V8 engine wit a Eaton supercharger (100% OEM).
Dude went ta Germany n' did a 7:46.325 all up in tha Nürburgring Nordschleife up in his straight-up stock CV525 (includin its Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires). Da only modified shïznit up in tha test was tha helmet.
Da license platez hidden up in order ta let no one trace his bootay n' all his thugged-out lil' underground stuff.

How about a closeup of the engine compartment?
Who went bankrupt? Ford or Shelby?

Not for nothing but a CV with a blower and a snake emblem doesn't mean Shelby had anything to do with this car. Got some paperwork or something?

Both, because they weren't focusing too much on the GT500.

I don't know if the next Shelby Crown Victoria actually should be supercharged or turbocharged because the Chevy SS and Dodge Charger SRT8 are naturally aspirated, but Shelby has always been into supercharging since the mid-2000s.

Both, because they weren't focusing too much on the GT500. By the way, Shelby back then was a high-performance subdivision owned by Ford Motor Company. Kinda like Pontiac, a division (before it went out of business) that was owned by GM.
Last time I checked Ford (www.ford.com) is still in business as is Shelby (http://www.shelbyamerican.com/index.asp).
BTW... Shelby was NEVER a division of Ford.
Has always been a separate company.

Those pics are so obviously photochopped I don't even know what to say. This is the biggest pile of horse manure I have read on a forum in a long time.
"Shelby has always been into supercharging since the mid-200s?"
Caroll Shelby built 2 60's Cobras that were twin supercharged, 1 of which he gave to comedian Bill Cosby. It seems you are wrongly informed regarding this entire topic, where are you getting your information from?

Based on the OPs vast knowledge and undeniable stated truths, I have one question to ask:
When did Ricers get into buying CVs?
That Shelby sticker on the trunk adds 100HP = 625HP! = CV625!!
BTW: Shelby did offer a Paxton supercharger option on it's small block cars back in the 60s.

OK....I'll bite!
Shelby made the Cobra all on his own using an British AC chassis and a Ford engine.
Chevy (stupidly) chose not to sell Carroll Shelby their small block V8 when he asked them for engines for his Cobras.
In the 60s, Shelby bought Mustangs from FORD and modified them in his own shop in LA.
FORD now pays Shelby for the name to use on the late model Mustang GT500s.
Shelby NEVER had anything to do with Crown Vics.
Maybe you are thinking of the rare Bob Bondurant modified CVs.
Please post more pictures of the CV525's 'dual air intakes'!

Gothcha!
A Shelby is worth a bunch more than a taxi cab!
With all that wasted time, you'd think that he could do a better photochop job.
I mean, he could even buy a bunch $10 Shelby snake emblems and glue them on the CV to make his ruse more convincing!
He may just be a masterful troll.
Haven't had too many of them around here for some time.
Kinda fun!
BTW: He didn't give us a 'Flat 8' engine nor a VW 'Turbo W12' engine for options in the poll!

Quite interesting how 'Shelby' protected the stealth nature of the car by putting steel wheels on it. Perhaps wheels made from titanium (or unobtainium) painted black, to prevent theft. ;)
