looking for something to see and do in KC any car museum and or displays best restaurant etc
will be there from the 16th till the 19th staying a Marriott down town.

Not much in the way of car museums out there. There's one opening in Olathe (southwest side of KCK) this weekend. I'd recommend the Steamboat Arabia museum at the farmer's market downtown, the Negro League baseball museum on 18th, and if you feel the need for a little culture the Nelson Atkins Art Museum and War Memorial (also downtown).
You've got to eat BBQ at Arthur Bryant's on Brooklyn, Strouds Fried Chicken (not as good atmosphere wise since they put the highway through the old roadhouse, but still great), Jess and Jim's Steakhouse (135th on south side of KCMO).
Moved back to Indiana from there ten years ago, still miss it.
