Not to derail from your for sale thread, but I picked up both a 2003 and 2004 Mercury Marauder brochure at Carlisle and I found something interesting:

The 2004 brochure does not show any views of a Marauder from the left (drivers) side at all. I'm wondering if that was deliberate by Ford marketing to not show the decontented fuel door opening on the side.

In the 2003 brochure, there are several nice shots of the driver side and the fuel door sits nice and flush.

Just something to check out if you have both brochures.
