Not the MM.
Skipping the details I have a power steering hose that FOMOCO never created. I am wanting to put a 6AN fitting in the steering rack but there is not a proper adapter and because of pressure it always drips. I am wanting to install the fitting in the rack with somthing like JB Weld, curious what the collective has had success with?

Is this for your marauder or a mustang ii rack?

Actually it is my 99 Ranger, but it has a 4.6 in it.

Id use quickweld if you want a putty, or jb weld for a more liquid epoxy. Ive used both on a brake fluid resiovior for a scooter. I liked the quick weld better.

A machine shop can make your custom adapter fitting. I really doubt epoxy will work long term, sounds like a major kluge.

I'm sure someone somewhere makes a fitting, it's just finding the fitting that's going to drive you insane... My dad has a 99 Ranger, it's a 4x4. I never booked that closely at it, but would be willing to if you need me to?

if it is the pressure side of the system, any cold weld type product won't work for very long.
I have a hydrobooster in my Merc and made some custom hoses in AN-6. I got a couple of adaptors from Hydratech. They were very helpful when I emailed them and they had lots of adaptors available, you might want to try them.

Thanks all, the hydratech site may have a correct adapter, will give them a call.
I have been through Russell, Aeromotive etc. none of them are right.
I do believe the collective here could solve all of mankinds problems.
