Went to go move the MM to detail the new truck, sounded kinda funky, like starter drive wasn't engaging.
Stuck a fresh battery in it as it's been sitting pretty much since February.
Same symptom.
Sounded like crank was spinning but nothing else.
Pulled the plugs, no compression in 4 cylinders, 1 on Drivers side and 3 on passenger.
I am totally lost as to how this happened while sitting in the driveway. I ran it at PBIR in February and lost the fuse to the boost a pump at about 1300'.
Replaced the fuse and drove it home 250 miles with the AC on.
Started it about 1 1/2 months ago and it sounded fine..
Got no time to deal with it right now, loading the cylinders up with Marvel Mystery Oil, putting the plugs back in and disconnecting the battery........:mad2:

Did you hold the throttle body open when doing the compression test? That would give a false reading if you didn't.

Yes I did.
Compression is
1) 0
2) 190
3) 0
4) 178
5) 181
6) 0
7) 0
8) 168

I assume you heard no piston-to-valve contact (or anything similar) when cranking it over?

Correct, and I see no marks on the pistons with my borescope

I just don't get how you could lose three cylinders on one side and one on the other and still drove it home. Unless you killed all those rings when I went lean and when they really cooled down they came away from the cylinder wall.
I would try a different different compression gauge.

Fairly new Snap on gauge, I use it daily.
The damage didn't happen at the track, there is no way it would have come home like this unless it was on a flat bed.
I'll find out what happened in August.

I think I want to do a 50/50 on guesses. Whoever guesses what broke gets half, the rest goes to the hurt motor. LOL

Didn't know that's what happened because I could not find a Cracker Jack Box decoder ring.
Thank you.

Ok here's the deal. My methanol injection, being sprayed through the throttle body managed to make the coating come off of my supercharger rotors. Coated the intake, heads and pistons with broccoli and cheese sauce.
Stuck the valves, broke stuff.
I need a supercharger or set of rotors, who gots??
Loss of compression in both banks is especially odd.
I have been trying to form a hypothesis but I got nothing.

Ouch! I do but it's practically a complete kit and not worth separating. Can't you have yours rebuilt while Marty works on the other stuffs?
I think guitard or however you spell his screen name has a couple trilogy blowers :dunno:

Here is how it plays out in my head.
Marty: reads internet problem
Marty: puts down diet mountain and texts Jeff.
Jeff: tells Marty anything to stop the texts
Marty: brings interpreted knowledge back to the internet so Zack feels inferior.
Yep, you're a lawyer

I have a twin screw, sitting on a built motor, in my car, talk me out of it, I thought it would make my DTR faster, but I realized it's a DTR and nothing will help.
It can be yours........ If the price is right.

Everything is for sale eh? Always you say... Hmmm. Twin screw on a built motor sounds nice... But to buy a DTR with it seems like a waste! *wut*
