Logan has given me permission to start this thread, Iam reposting my last reply from the thread "What Santa forgot on his sleigh"

OK OK, It's a little to soon to start taking anyones money just yet. I might be treading on thin ice here due to the no selling rules but I will take a chance and lay this out for you. Please understand that this project hinges on tooling availability and making the required changes to it to make it a Marauder. If the tooling is available it will take at least 16 to 20 weeks from art approvals to get product. If the tooling does not exsist then it is a matter of how many can made and sold to justfy the cost of the tooling. Two of the 9 manufactures have already replied "No Tooling" but the best ones have yet to answer. I'm thinking of adding (if the project is a go) a Jacket! and no you won't be able to wear it. Will post progress as I go.

All who are interested please reply to billatpro@aol.com

I have no pricing at this time but my experience with these programs tells me the price would be around $60.00 depending on the total production run. I would like to do 2500 pieces. any questions "fire away"

Thanks

Well, I guess I assumed you too' after all how would it look if our leader were left out? One question for all!

Although it might well mean a long delay on the project, should I hold up until new paint colors are finalized and do a mixed production of colors?

No, just Black. Keep cost down, and this car looks best in black.

To me, a Marauder comes one way, and it "leaves" better.

Like Richard Pryor's poem...Black.

Bill, what SCALE diecast are we talking here? 1:18, 1:24? I assume for $60.00 we'd be getting something bigger than a 1:43, right? I'd be very interested as long as it's black!

Hey, I'm with you guts, Like I said else where, this car live's to be BLACK, but I don't want to slight anyone.

Stealth vic...... that's a way cool Vic, mabye I'll pick one up for ****s and grins and stuff a built 351 C in it!!!

Oh and we would be talkin 1/18th scale on die cast.

So far I got names for about 18 cars, only 2482 more to go and I can get 2 or 3 company's to build a new tool from scratch for us in a heart beat.

Bill,

Sent you about 24 pics from various angles to include trunk, front and back seats, and engine compartment. Didn't send you any under body shots, cuz I don't have a lift...

If you need some other shots that I didn't include, let me know and I'll take them.

If I might make a suggestion, if they can tint the windows, I think that would look spiffy, thats how the car SHOULD have come but, silly them.

A thought if I might, if the good folks are reading, why not ask Dennis, the Kenny Brown folks and Sean Hyland if they're interested in obtaining a few. Might do something for business....

Thanks guy's for all the pic's, got all I need for now.

Tinted widows, hell yes. and no if any one wants highlited "Marauder" they can paint them in them selves. I might have to try and do a deal with LM to put them in dealers show room! Will check with Ford licensing to see if they are interested.

yeah, but wouldn't it be a bit tight in the shoulders??<G>

how about a mini plate that says "Mafia Staff Car" on it...<G>

Billatpro

I thought the mini jacket would be cool, I could do a 1/18th scale "ME" wearing it to show the embossing of MARAUDER I'm getting done on my real jacket!

Mafia Staff Car? now your spacing out!
