Took a quick trip out to Alternative Auto this morning...WOW! There was a 600+ horsepower Mustang with Ohio plates, and a "certain S/C'd" Marauder on a lift.
I USED to think that I knew what a fast car was.
Now, I know better :D
We need a mole, in that shop, posting all of the license plates that leave that building. Then we can enter that information into a database, so that whenever one of us feels "frisky", we can be sure that we are NOT racing against one of Lidio's creations.
Unless, of course, you enjoy the feel of total humiliation
PS,
Chips and gears are coming soon...
Keep in mind...some people like to talk about their projects...some people don't.

so sayeth the possum
Here are a few facts: (Just replace the word "Opossum" with "Todd")
1. The opossum doesn't have a permanent "nest" because it is nocturnal and transient. It will spend an average of 2-3 days in the same hideout, then move on. Some weeks later it may return to your place, depending on your hospitality.
2. Opossums may drool, growl and show their 50 teeth when frightened, but in reality are placid and prefer to avoid any confrontation.
3. Opossums will adapt to any environment where food, water and shelter exist. (See #1.)
4. When unable to flee, extreme fear places the opossum into an involuntary coma. They become stiff and their mouths will gape open. This condition will last 40 minutes to 4 hours.
Uh...I explained this in other threads..."The Possum" is the nickname for George Jones, whose pic is my avatar...
Although...the "stiff" part in your description of the Opossum does fit me well, RF

Along with "drool", "growl", and "involuntary coma"...all of which usually happen during one of your golf games...

Nah...but:
"drool" - Oh yeah, when I see progress on "the project"
"growl" - yeah, you've never heard anything like it
"involuntary coma" - most definately...especially from anyone in the passenger seat

I find it oddly poetic that George's other nickname "No Show Jones" also would apply to your Indy absence.

Are they able to type during that period?

THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT!!!! It's like Jimmy Buffett. you can buy the records, read the books, wear the T-shirt but there's nothing compared to a live performance. Maybe I'll re-route through GA and give him ride to Indy...

Not based on any facts, just a gut feeling, this weekend would be a good time to detour through Georgia.

Your secret is safe with me. The plate numbers are all in my "little black book".
For the rest of you, though, if it's sporting widened rims and Nitto's, FOR GODS SAKE don't race it ;)

I voted for Indy because Bristol is TOO for for me, just like Indy is too far for the Cali Crew.
The big dogs run at Indy too. Maybe not while we are there, but we got the track Friday.
After hearing about how you treated Johnathan when he was down there, I am even more dissapointed that you will not be in attendance. (Not to mention the Todd and Marty show) I WAS looking forward to meeting you in person! :(
Oh well, maybe it will be in Ennis again at some point in the future. :D
