If anyone here has a CarFax account and is willing to run a VIN for me I would greatly appreciate it.

It's Ford internal record keeping.

Anything done by a dealer show's up:)

OASIS shows :
born on and warranty start dates, plus
open recalls (if any),
CA emmissions verification,
Ford extended and/or maintenance policies, and
about 1 year of warranty service repair history (if any).

And it is done free of charge.

When I asked for the CarFax request I naively thought that there was a way to get CarFaxes without having to pay a fee if one had a certain level account. Last Friday, a friend of mine who owns a Ford dealership informed me that this is not the case.

I wish to apologize for my CarFax request. Had I known otherwise I would not have asked.

The offer to run the VIN on OASIS will always be "on the table".
