In the past I have met individuals that have a keen EYE for what might fit -This guy may have had an affiliation with a Recycle [foreign] recycle yard in fact Mitsubishi was the AMC of Japan they used everybody else's parts in their cars and CryCo back in the day used Mitsu parts and engines in their small cars, K-karz ,ETC

Now you got me wanting to build VW Rabbit Pickup I was thinking about back in high school with a 2.0 Mitsubishi engine.
