Any help here would be appreciated, fan not working, engages when jumped from battery, temp sensor on COT replaced to no avail. Ford temp guages do not go past half way, so I can't tell if its overheating, guage is always in the middle range. Ai/C does not work, won't blow cold air, would this have anything to do with engine fan not coming on ?, replaced antifreeze, I read somewhere about a TSB on these fans, and I fear there are plenty inoperable fans out there with the owners not aware of it.

Check the cooling fan relay
Location can be found in your owners manual

The factory temp gauge will read higher then the middle range when the engine gets hotter than normal.

When you say the A/C doesn't work
Is the compressor coming on?
Is the blower motor working?

When the A/C is turned on the cooling fan should come on.

The A/C could not be working because the receiver dryer has rusted out.

To my knowledge there is no TSB on the cooling fans.

If the cooling fan is not working you'll know it really fast when the engine overheats.

Do some problem determination first. Stop throwing parts at the problem.

Cooling fan won't come on until 210 degrees. Are you sure the engine is at least 210 degrees? Use a scanner and look at the date stream to be sure.

Gauge DOES move full sweep to hot.

If you changed the coolant it's real easy to get air in system and confuse the coolant sensor. Bleed out the air.

A/C will not work if engine is over heating but I don't see any proof your engine is overheating. Check the freon charge.

yes , thanks for the replys, will swap or replace the relay, a/c compressor does not come on, I replaced the accumulator, it was rusted, I guess it looks like the compressor is bad, since the clutch will not engage, and engine fan does mot come on, will check the actual temp, but I have not seen the fan come on after a long drive.
