Stock Stereo Question

I have a fully functioning stock MM system.
I personally feel that even with the bass at max that I can get more out of it.
Is there a feature/option/button to get more power?
Its loud...just not bassy enough for my classic rock....

What do I try?

if you still have the stock speakers switch them out with a decent pair of aftermarkets like Infinity or Kicker, if thats still not enough get a better head unit

Take the baffle out of the subwoofer I heard helps some, and if like the factory look rather than aftermarket, switch to a Audiophile unit from the escape/mariner...It works with steering wheel controls, but you lose the trunk mounted CD function, BUT it has 6 disc in dash so no loss.

sub is mounted inthe trunk, driver side up under the package tray, it's a black box

Ill climb in and have a look.....maybe sub is shot and thats why I dont feel the bass that much....thanks fellas...have a great weekend

It's a small sub, just housed in the larger black plastic housing..It's like a 5-6 inch sub. Drop the housing down and there will be a foam baffle laying in it.

Install an Infinity Basslink. As long as you don't need filling loosening bass, it's just right.

Never thought about removing the foam on top of sub woofer ,will it give you more bass sound ?
