Do you guys recommend??

With all the different companies which is the best??

Everybody says theirs is the best, wouldn't the detergents in the fuel wash the cylinder walls and therefore become detrimental to it

This is not a serious question :shake:

Do you guys recommend??

My preference for gas (in order) is:

1. Sunoco 93
2. Shell 93
3. Exxon 93

On long trips headed to MVs or other Marauder events, I have also used Marathon and Valero when one of the 3 above isn't convenient. Can't say that I have ever noticed a difference in performance between any of them.

oh in that case id recommend going to taco bell or A&W as they produce the best methane. dont go to mcdonalds as youll get the mcgurggles and knocking in your intestines. time consuming to clean. trust me.

jokes aside i only feel right when i go to shell or chevron for their lovely detergents. not to mention chevrons in my area sell 91 oct without stupid ethanol.

I always use premium Shell, just because I noticed I get a couple more MPG's out of it. I never believed any gas was better than any other gas till I noticed how many miles I got out of Shell premium compared to Speedway premium.

I've been told by a few mechanic friends that Chevron 93 is the best with the Techron additive. However, Chevron is a bit out of my way. So, occasionally, I'll "treat" the car to some Chevron. Otherwise, it's Shell, Hess or in a pinch Racetrack. The Sunoco dealer is nuts! He is way more than $0.50 gallon than anyone else's premium! What's he thinking? That gas will go bad before I spend $4.19/gallon! :shake:

Unfortunately for us in the Midwest, (Illinois) $4.19's about the norm. I paid $3.95 at a BP, and was excited for that!

It does. I set a record 1/4 time after it passed though!

I suggest E85 and more spark... GET ON IT!

Seriously though... why haven't you put 80lb injectors in Silver and started running ethanol?

BP anyone? I almost always use BP, Sunoco, Shell in that order. I mostly use the local BP because it's on the way home and they have the lowest ultimate prices around - $3.45 on the way home tonight. Maybe I should switch to Shell for a few tanks and see what they hype is about.

Doesn't really matter, they all exchange depending on location. You will never know which refinery the gas came from.

I tend to prefer Diesel. Gives it a nice shake :pimp:

I'm envious of you guys that have real gas stations. My car gets Murphy, it's a lot cleaner than GoGas. That being said, if I know the car's going to be sitting for a while (like over winter), i'll put non-ethanol in it, and it's all over the place cuz of boats and such. No water for me!
