I picked up the Carbon Fiber gauges and had them installed by Zack over the weekend. Thanks to this site for all the priceless information. I went with the fuel pressure gauge as the third. I may add another on the Pillar to go with the boost gauge. Thanks to Zack too, nice job....

I will be visiting Zack this weekend as well for some needed work on my car, I feel fortunate to live close enough to him for him to do the work. Sweet guages, nice finishing work. Hope to meet you sometime Joe, I am an old Cook County boy myself, raised in Melrose Park

Those look nice, are they easier to read in person than in the picture? I like the dark look that matches the dark grey. One nice finishing touch done with mine was to actually relocate the cigarette lighter to the side of the pod as in the picture.

The carbon fiber gauges Joe picked up are nothing short of awesome.
In person, they will blow you away.
Thanks Joe, it was a pleasure.

WOW! Those are sweet!

I've seen all the autometer stuff and the carbon fiber gauges are one of my favorites.

VERY slick.

That looks fantastic!! I just gone done doing the "real oil pressure gauge" conversion today, and I love it. The only thing stopping me from a third gauge was my need for the cigarette lighter for a powerpoint... And this thread has shown me the way!!! Nice job!

During the day the gauges are 3D with the yellow markings, white numbers, and silver needle floating over the black carbon fiber. At night you kinda lose that effect, but I think they're easier to read than the OEM. We used the green filter on the bulbs.

http://www.mercurygallery.net/mmnet/data/500/252test_0776-med.JPGLooks very cool!

Do you know if the gauge housing can be ordered without any gauge holes in it?

This would enable a three-gauge set to be properly centered across the front.

Thanks,

David
