There is hardly a day that doesn't go by that I don't have something to remind me of him and or I do anyway ...So many events I see each day that does this--he not here is wrong--just plain wrong--carry on--

Tom, the planet hasn't been quite the same and neither have a great many of us since CHEESE moved to his reward. However, I know that if you bring the sandwiches cheese will have the beer and we will be drinking and eating in God's parking lot into the late evening. Every night! Cheese will have a lot of stories to share. Dennis:beer:

Every time I go in my closet and see my suspenders hanging there, I think of Rex.
May he rest in peace.

Oh, man... You guys are gonna make me cry...

Rex was the 1st mm.net I ever met. We crossed Lake Michigan on the SSBadger together on the way to MVX. I liked him very much & his passing affected me greatly. :depress:

No doubt that Rex was one of the good guys and a real fixture here on the MM.Net. :2thumbs: He always had a smile and good words or a story for everyone. Miss ya Buddy !!! :(

During MV10 in South Haven, MI, we attended the "Bonfire" at the mayor's house. As I was leaving, I asked Rex to watch my bottle of Single Barrel Buffalo Trace and bring me back whatever was left. Pops/John overheard this conversation and said "You are asking Rex to watch your bourbon ?? Good Luck with that !!"

Although I had been watching Rex SC Cheesehead post on these forums since early 2004, I didn't have a chance to meet him until mid-July 2007 a little more than 7 years ago. He was having a pool party at his house in Greenville, SC and I was visiting my son at Fort Benning, GA. My return route on I-85 took me past his place and he invited me and the wife to stop by and meet some of the Carolina Marauders who were in attendance. We did !!!

About 3 weeks later in August 2007, Rex and Terri were at Marauderville V (MV5) in Hagerstown, MD. Below is a pic of Rex at the German Restaurant during MV5. Notice that he is wearing his Carolina Marauder shirt and NO suspenders. Rex without suspenders is indeed a rare photo.

I miss Rex...

his humor
and his stable influence here.

I had traded PMs with Rex for years before finally meeting him at MV9
in Hershey.
He was a great guy and I wish that I had been able to spend more time with him before he was taken from us.
