The cars were just featured on My Classic Car last Saturday. Talked about each car and how they were personalized at the factory for each Ford family member. I believe it was episode 14.

In person these cars are inspiring. Understated yet VERY elegant. And the little touches like hiding the gas filler behing the hinged driver's side tailight...Mmmmmm love em...almost as much as the Mark III's...

Nice show / the green one had the Pre 'Marauder " package 430 cu in MEL [mercury edsel lincoln] this eng was around 340 -350 hp... The 368 had under 300 hp in the black car, and the Blue 460 [385 eng family] had roughly 365 hp .. this family had all bases covered ,and you know they were super tuned .

A little bit more history here for those interested...
There were two Mark III, Mark IV and Mark V models...the 58 Mark III, 59 Mark IV, and the 60 Mark V... Lincoln at the time thought they were wasting a good name and dropped the Mark just in time for the '61 Continental. Ford virtually ignores these now...the 58 is by far the best looking,IMO...and these were and still may be the longest production convertibles and I believe unibody cars...

There's 2 or three of these Mark IIs in the museum at NPD in Ocala Florida.
