I'm replacing the stock block with an MMR cast iron block to allow me to make more horsepower. Still in the decision stage on who the manufacturer of the supercharger will be but I'm hoping for #'s in the 600+ HP range.....

You can have 600 all day long with a 2.3...now if that motor is forged and you wanna be the bully on the block, kenne bell released their 3.6. It's on their website and that blower is a beast!

Actually I always like to mix things up so a little so I decided to go with the cast iron "Boss 302" block....

Sure if you have a Cobra with a manual trans.

It is very expensive to achieve 600rwhp in a Marauder with an auto trans.

Not doubting what you say but that's what I'm shooting for and my tuner says it's achievable. Once everything is done the Dyno will say whether I made it or not.

A 2.9L Whipp , or a TVS will get you there , a 2.3 your going to have to spin the ****t out of it!:(

You don't want to pull crankcase anything into a supercharged car, let alone a roots.
You need a breather tank

real clean install, nice work.
Have you tuned it on the dyno at all, or 'street' base tuning for now?
Curious what high number you'll make, and how much IAT heat that thing will create...

Not sure what you mean...do you mean baffles for the valve covers. It already has a catch can.

The car was towed from the fabricator back to the tuner for final tuning/finishing touches/additions. The numbers and IAT temps I'll know next week when the dyno is done.

My bad. Yes for sure then.

Your passenger side cam cover is hooked directly to the air inlet pipe.
It will coat the intercooler in oil and puddle in the lower intake.
NOT GOOD.

Thanks Zack! That's what I thought but just wanted to be sure. That is the way I had the Eaton set up and the intake tube on it had no oil to speak of of the teardown. This will be checked on the dyno pull and I will make sure a PCV valve gets inserted before it's finished. But I've had this car with just breathers and the cabin smell was not pleasant. Thanks for alerting me to that possible problem.:)

Slayer 1 made it to the dyno today and with the temperature @ 80 degrees and after a rain the car made 591.44 horsepower and 555.85 Max Torque on 16 pounds of boost and on 93 Octane. The car is making over 500 pounds of torque way down in the rpm band. It's not the 600+ I was hoping for on this first pull but still very respectable. We will be upping the boost later and probably adding the Killer Chiller too but I'm happy with what it's producing right now. Friday I will be going to US 13 Dragway to see if the tires will hold under the increased HP/TQ. More to come......

Thanks Bob! That's with a 3.75 pulley and I will have him order a 3.5 and a 3.25 for possible installation later. Now this Killer Chiller has gotten my attention.....:coolman:
