I was in y team lead's office yesterday, a GS-13, just shooting the schyt. Anyway, we were talking cars, and he told me how he wanted a new car, something faster and bigger.
He currently drives a 2002 Maxima. It's nice. A deep green, full luxury package, etc.
I asked him "do you like my car?" He said "yes, but I don't want to look like a police cruiser he says" LOL. I was like, well how about a Mercury Marauder?
He had no idea wtf a Marauder was. I went to my computer and was going to send him some pictures. At first I go to the MM.Net gallery, BUT YOU CANNOT RIGHT CLICK THOSE PICTURES! :shake: LOL
Well I did a quick google search and found him the specs and a few pics of some Marauders.
He was VERY impressed. Well, he stopped me today as I was walking by his office and called me in.
"Hey Mack, I'm going to the Mercury dealership today to look at some Marauders" he told me.
I informed him that they are rare for the most part and that he should call before he goes down there, for most dealerships don't have any 'Rauders on the lot. I also told him that if he wants one, he better act quick, because this is their last year of production.
I'm crossing my fingers he gets one! I also told him about this site. But he's damn near 65 years old. He's old school, and he doesn't really do the "interweb" LOL.
I'll keep you guys posted on his decision! :rock:
