Anyone have any ideas on how to redo the grips on this steering wheel? Or what is a fair price to have it done?
The rings are all there by the way so dont have to worry about trying to find any of those...

Lots of restoration places that will do it.
This steering wheel probably isn't that rare and you may be able to find another one cheaper than restoring it. The turquoise color and 16" wheel were vary common on the 1963 Mercury. Check with some junk yards out west or down south.

I checked with one guy and he wanted like 750 bucks and that didnt include the chrome parts. I looked on youtube and it shows a guy using epoxy putty to fill in those cracks after you clean them out a bit.
Then sand off the old paint and sand the putty to fit and prime and repaint. Think i may try it myself. The epoxy is only like 35 bucks and I already have all the tools needed. But we'll see.
Thanks for the feedback guys.
