Most of these were one of few cars ,2 years ago at Carlisle in the old garage area by the street entrance there was a nice display of 427 hi rise head and low rise head models with a few cammers. In assorted galaxies -

I am happy with my Marauder.

I posted this Feb. 2008 on my Wordpress blog.

Now, if I won that kind of money I would, of course, pay off the house and car, etc, etc.But the big thing I would do is put on a concert. I would have Elton John, Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Billy Joel, Sting, Tina Turner and ZZ Top. I would ask for 4 or 5 songs from each artist. And any duets, etc they might want to do. It would be in the smallest venue I could find in the U.S. or Italy. With a JBL sound system. I would fly in friends from around the U.S. and Italy. Probably a total of about 40 people.

Instead of paying the artists I would make large donations to their favorite charities. I hope that would be a better inducement than plain cash. And of course I would have to pay for an organizer.

No factory cammers in the '60s. That engine was an over the counter item only. All it took was money to have your dealer drop one into your brand new 1965 Galaxie 500 XL, or what ever else you might be driving.
