Can't go wrong with a Glock. As a Certified Glock Armorer I recommend you go with Meprolight night sights. They are the same if not better than Trijicon just a better value. Glock also has branded night night sights but they are not the greatest I personally don't like them and as far as mag extentions, try to stay with all Glock factory parts bceause if the weapon fails due to after market parts Glock will tell you tuff luck.

I am looking into a new CC piece myself, and am thinking about either a Glock 30, a 36, and I like the idea of the 42 as well. Do you find that .380 is a big enough round for CC?
I am liking the .45 ACP for CC but may consider a .40 as well. I am not crazy about 9mm.
Springfield makes the XD-S single stack .45, and now they have an even better version coming out but they are not MA compliant.

My daily CC is ruger LCP
My open carry is Beretta M9
When considering only CC for defense - Unless you have the need to kill your target on the first shot .380 9mm .40 and .45 are all going to do the same job. They are all loud as ****. They will all drop an unarmored target in one shot.
For purposes other than CC there are plenty of reasons to choose one of the more energetic cartridges.

My other CC is a Glock 23 gen 4 in .40.
You can do alot of damage with a personal defense .380 round. Although the Glock 42 only holds 6/7 rounds, I figure If I can't stop one or two threats with 6 rounds I shouldn't be carrying.
The other CC's I look at were a Walther PK380 and PPS (.40). Most small CC's have a small grip so I will need a magazine extender for my pinkie. The Walthers are well made but there are few "accessories" available. Another good .380 CC is a S&W M&P Bodyguard.
In the end I figured you can't go wrong with a Glock..............

I considered a Ruger LCP but decided on the Glock since I got a smokin' deal on it. Was only about $50.00 more than the Ruger.

There's so much glock hate out there, I don't get it. They are great firearms. Just need to be careful with the lack of a safety other than the trigger safety.

While a 454 is fun to shoot, and to just up the ante', I picked up this little gem today, took a shot of it with one of my HK USP's and one with a Glock 27, I think I'll make this one a new "off duty" weapon.....:D

Its evil, that's all you need to know. I live in Canada too and that's what the media has told me so it must be true.
Actually, I really like my G21. I've owned a couple of them over the years and wish I could get my hands on something like a G30. If I could I might even give up one my 1911's to do so.

Not sure how you like to carry. If you are looking for IWB check out concealment solutions Mamba and Micro Mamba. Excellent quality. You can do a horse hide upgrade or stick with standard. I have one of each. The horse hide creaks badly during the breaking period.

AND it's the .50, not the typical .44. Very cool. Good ol' Israeli firearms.

Hiding spot?????????
or it could be big enough for a 380 kind of a small spot open your center console door all the way up. Lift up on the lid back and forth till it pops out. Once you just got it out don't pull up too much you have to disconnect the 12 Volt from the bottom

I would have loved to carry my DE but couldn't get the the thing to function for a full magazine without the bullets jamming in the mag. Got 13 new mags from Magnum Research and all of them did the same thing.

Nice choice! I just got the LC9s, Already had an LC9 so I had magazines a holster that fit the LC9 with the CT laserguard.
I used to carry a 1911, that got heavy quick but its nice and thin, 9 shots .45 ACP.
