Door Molding Part NO.

Hi guys,

I want your help to conform the "Door Molding" for the MM.

is this the true part NO : 5W7Z 5420878 BPTM ?

RockAuto list it for the crown victoria 1998-2008

How much is approximately worth ? I found one in Ebay with 55$ is OK ?

If so what is the best way to stick it in ?

I am assuming this is for the Front Passenger Door based on the Part Number. The Ford part number probably replaces an older part number. As you can see with Ford Parts Giant I have listed the part numbers for the various colors. Each was replaced by the 5W7Z-5420878-APTM.

The part listed at Rock Auto states that it fits a 2003-2004 Mercury Marauder and is listed at $60.79 and would cost me about $8.83 for Ground (2 to 3 Business days) shipping (South Carolina)

There are several on E-BAY, however the one that (I think) you are looking at is from Car Parts Wholesale with price of $55.89 with free shipping. If it is ok that it is not an OEM Part, That should be OK. Will probably need to paint the molding. I think the ones I looked up are all primed and are OEM parts.

So it looks like a big difference between OEM and an OEM Replacement part.

All of the trim should have double sided tape on the back side used to apply to the door.
