I believe that foam thing should stay. Keeps debris off the cone.

I thought there was too much vibration playing at high levels . (Music with heavy bass) So I tried the paper clip trick read on an prior thread the paper clip went in way further than the thread described 1/2" untill stoped. So I decieded that may not be the source of the noise.I think the fabric over the deck should be sufficient from stuff infiltrateing the speaker cone.I read (saw)another thread where they taped the wires and connectors down to the deck. Does the dealer do any thing warranty related to solve this concern?:help:

I left the foam over the sub when I rid myself of the vibration. The real trick is to stick paper garage towels (or some other soft material) in between the rear deck and the top of the rear trunk all around the sub. I found that most of the vibration was coming from the entire rear deck cover vibrating.
Worked like a charm:)
