Anyone have this to protect their headlights? I plan to restore mine and was thinking of applying this after.

I put X-pel on a pair of brand new OEM headlamps that I put on the car about a year and a half ago...been daily driving it on the Long Island Expressway for almost a year now, and the lights still look great.

I've used the 3M headlight restore kit. Take your time, make sure to follow the steps. Helps to have a spray bottle on hand to keep the lights moist while sanding. However I've never used a protectant like x-pel. Post pictures of the results!

I've had it on my headlights since 2004, 5 days after I picked up the car. Headlights still look brand new.
