Hi everyone

I just want to purchase from Rockauto the suspension kit "MEVOTECH"

And the kit include :-

Tie Rod End
Tow Front Inner
Front Left Outer
Front Right Outer

Control Arm
Front Left Upper
Front Right Upper
Front Right Lower
Front Left Lower

Is that a good kit for 428$ ?

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=5735178&cc=1387829

I pick MEVOTECH because it seems it the only company that makes a suspension kit for the panther IIRC

I need your suggest before I buy this staff.

Thank you

No experience with them but that looks like a good price.

Rock Auto just posted a code to get 5% off.

No experience with MEVOTECH, but my money would go for a name brand such as Moog or Ford.

I'd go with Moog components too. I've never even heard of MEVOTECH.

You are missing the sway bar bushings, end links, steering rack bellows, springs and shocks.

Personally, I like the Ford lubed-for-life parts, but you can't go wrong with Moog either.

What is "improved" about the Mevotech lower control arms?

Stay away from Mevotech, I repeat stay away from Mevotech !!

I've tried it at work on our Crown Vic fleet and other model cars and it's real crap, while I've not seen breakage it simply doesn't last.

Stay with Motorcraft or OEM Ford, from my experience even the Moog is not what it used to be.

It's way cheaper to swap ball joints on the control arm instead of replacing the whole thing. I think these parts should fit the Marauder in the link below. I think those are Moog parts too.

What if the control arm bushing are shot or on the way out? If you don't replace them you'll be doing the job again!

I said I think those parts are Moog. I remember I saw that ad a few months ago and in the listing it said Moog but now it's not there anymore. I sent him an email and asked him what brand they are. Oh man he said they are Chinese aftermarket. I'll try to find a Moog set up for you.

Cheap suspension parts that wear out prematurely are not a bargain, especially for you with customs and shipping.

I would buy good Ford parts and know they will last and not cause you headaches and have to do it over again.

I well go first to FORD and make comparison between prices then I may take it or buy MOOG parts.

Mevotech is junk. I bought a set of their ball joints from Rock Auto. The dust boots are rubbish. They are made from cheap, thin rubber that rips easily and held in place with a crappy metal ring hat comes off without trying.

I would recommend Raybestos premium parts. The quality looks very nice.
