9 thread heads, late revision, previously ported for more boost (made 900hp), Cobra springs, Manley valves, just had fresh valve job, new seals and surfaced .006". no cams, sprockets, followers or chains - ready to use, assembled fresh heads.
Value?

$300 donation so I can buy them? You're too kind :P
I see some sets for sale - $900 used - $1500 fresh, plus shipping too.
These are on that high side, seem like decent heads...maybe...

There is no way those heads will bring 900-1500 , and incomplete heads at that? Good luck!
Your actual retail price is 400-600!

hmmm, as said, I'm not selling them - but from what I've seen for sale on mod motor sites, being ported, valve job, after market valves etc - seemed close to right price. I'm not seeing complete, used stock cams/sprockets/chains and freshened 9 thread heads for under $1200
I'll continue the search...

Anytime i see "Ported" i take it with caution because unless the heads were worked by a professional with flow bench data/results with before , and after info the heads could be worse than before they initially were touched.
An asking price , and what something is actually worth is two entirely different things;)

Truth. For all you know it was some guy with a Dremel and some beer.
I'd rather buy stock heads and have them ported myself then buy ones already done. Unless they were numbered somehow and you could verify with who ported them.

Should be able to get $800 for them pretty easily I would think. Most of the cobra guys have to have the 9 thread heads for some reason. Also being "ported" makes em swarm, flow numbers or not

guy wants $1500 shipped.
I've had success buying no name ported heads before, when the seller provided flow sheets for the heads, mic'd the valves, cc'd the chambers and checked spring pressure at a machine shop.
We'd split that charge.
If they aren't willing to do that, no sale.
These prices are out of hand.
9 thread heads are no better that the 4-5 thread if you never over-tighten the plugs.
A machine shop can time-sert a 4 thread casting in all 8 holes for probably 100-150, and be a zillion times better than the as-cast 9 thread heads.
Save that money!
...if you go that route, buy some 99-01 heads and save even more money!
