She is 12, I get that pre-teen attitude ... but this car can be difficult at times. Last couple of thousand miles (only 82K on the her) ... Master Cylinder, Brake Light Switch .. Ok. No biggie.

Wash, Polished, Clay Bar and Wax this weekend ... only to have some piece of human excrement back into the front bumper with their tow hitch and did not leave a note. Considering it was parked in Timbuktu, I was impressed it got hit. Yes, it is minor and 99.99999% of the folks will not see it, but I DO!

Also noticed, that the window tint is bubbling, so that needs to be stripped and redone. Still need to make the appt to fix this.

This morning on the drive in to work, noticed the Cruise Control is acting up. It works just fine, till you hit a crack or undulation in the road and then it trips off. I have not even started to look at that yet ... Any thoughts?

The Mach 300 stereo works fine as long as you do not touch the radio buttons, and only use the steering wheel controls, which I do 99% of the time. A new one has been ordered ...

UGH!

:mad2: :argue: :mad2:

Then there are days like yesterday, when my 3 boys and I took it out for a drive. We pulled into a shop and a 40 something young lady, sees the car and smiles. She walks over and asked what number it was? I was taken back because I was not sure what she was asking. She then repeats the question, and starts to explain how the Marauder was just a trim in 03 because it did not have a unique VIN unlike the 04. She knew mine was an 03 cause it was DPB. She ended with asking what number my blue was? I answered '232' with a smile.

 :D

That exchange is why I still drive the Marauder, but o right now ... she is acting like a spoiled little brat!

Had to have the clockspring replaced to fix my inoperative cruise control. If yours is bad and you can replace it that's great but if the dealership does it, then the bill will be in the multi-hundreds.

Did the cruise control start acting up after the break switch replacement?

Character ... She is full of it right now.

Cruise control before brakes? Not sure. I had the mechanic double check the switch, and so did I. Thinking clock spring. Yeah ...

still love driving her!

If it makes you feel better, I wish I had a Marauder to nickel and dime me. I would gladly put up with that.

Mine had a pubescent period where it didn't recieve mods very well. Always something small and stupid.

Now its like that old faithful dog sitting on the porch. Does what it does and doesn't complain or fuss.

Only problems I've had are the valve seat, an axle, and the usual o-rings EATC, BCM, blend door actuator, and LCM. I'm at 153,000+ miles. Most things on this car have been very reliable and held up very well.
