JMOD on a 4r70w

i have an stock 2003 Mercury Marauder , i would like to know where to get the parts kit for a JMOD , including the parts for the 4th gear overdrive.

2nd , i saw an You-tube video on how to do the Jmod ,do you have to drop your transmission down????? like i saw it done on the Video???


3rd if you did a Jmod to the tranny .would you have to get a tunner and make any computure adjustments to allow the Jmod transmission to work properly or can u get a jmod done to tranny and just drive car as is factory settings..

4th. i was kinda,thinking i let a shop do this work,where would you take Your Marauder to get it done ,any good tranny shop or a Ford Dealership ,if i come to a shop talking about jmod -trannys and a box of parts to do it ,will they know ,wht i am talking about and how to do the convertion?!?!

Dealer won't do it. Don't even ask. No, you do not drop the trans. Just the pan and valve body.

where can u buy a J-mod tranny kit- that is for all 4 gear,s , including overdrive reprgram!??!?! is there a company or a part ### number to J-mod kit!??!

You do it yourself, there is no reprogramming

It does not change the shift programming . It quickens the actual shift 1-2 and 2-3, 4 th is overdrive.

All you need is two gaskets from your Ford dealer for like $4.00 and oil. There is nothing for overdrive..

what about The Trans-Go Shift Kit part ## aodehd2 ... u can get through Summitt.. compared to J-mod??????
