Major snow job

Getting pounded with winter weather on the east coast this year. In the past 21 days on Prince Edward Island we have received 8.5 feet of snow.

That is not a typo, 8 and a half feet of snow, this past weekend we had 32 inches of snow in one storm alone in a blizzard with 83 mph wind gusts.

At this rate I will not get my Maruader out of storage until the middle of May. :mad2::mad2::mad2:

way less snow, but burning 4.97 gallons of oil per day for 45 days straight to keep warm. no car until April, if salt washes off streets.

I don't know how y'all survive up there ! Heat here makes the A/C looks cheap, cant Imagine running heat for months at a time .It's been a very cold winter here this year , down to 42* last night with wind chill @ 35* and colder tonight. Half of our diesels did not start up as normal this morning. Ready for summer !

Things must be bad if you need to plug in a diesel engine in Florida. We set multiple records in our last storm for snow amounts and wind, best blizzard I have ever been in, closed the schools for a week.

2014 was the warmest year on record, with global temperatures 0.68C (1.24F) above the long-term average, US government scientists have said.

The results mean that 14 of the 15 warmest years on record have occurred since the turn of the century.

The analysis was published on Friday by Nasa and Noaa researchers.
