Since that's in Florida, that car would really be dangerous if they took it by to see Mr. Reinhart for a few goodies!

All I can think of is the poor interior. :( Holes drilled all over and that tacky stick on calendar. It probably reads "Goober's Bar and Grille," or something stupid like that. Think of the beating that MM takes!

I have to agree.... the passenger seat has this huge in car camera drilled right into the seat!! No saving it! Right next to the shifter is more holes, the radio is gone and they have the lights/siren controller there, and then all the holes for the LED emergency light! Its hole after hole. The car has almost 8K on it, and its only been on the road for a few months. The Officers apparently only use it during daylight hours, but I have seen them on main roads pulling people over at 9+pm.

It would be interesting to hear from these guys...we here on the board talk about our cars exhibit this or that problem (most notably transmissions and head/valve guides); a cruiser in the line of duty doesn't have the time to worry about these problems. So what are they doing in the police garages to stave the inevitable effects of heavy-duty usage/wear and tear? Would really like to know...could be useful info for those of us facing our own set of problems...would really like to tap that info... :help:

They need MM's down there to catch all those "blue haired ladies" and men in their Sansabelt pants with white belts and shoes.

Those pictures are just so beautiful! *sniff*

To see a Marauder being used for police duty is wonderful. I also like that Cobra badging on the side of the car. I wonder if they plan on modding any of them?

I had a guess at Todd's "secret" project as well. From what Marty sez I am guessing I was right. I may not know all of it either, but it sounds pretty cool.

Of course, I might be first in line to buy some of the used items that are the result of this.

I hear he's Penguin Bashing Champion too, so this must be Todd's week!

:P

Gotta love it.

is this car one of those drug repo cars? This is a new service car yet it is an early model "A" model; the cobra is also not something that the PD would put on.

As far as them being repo's or the like, they are not. They were donated, according to the article, and received three of them, two blacks and a silver one. They also got a saleen style mustang, but I have not seen that one yet. Must of been a left over A model, or maybe a dealer demo....
