Love Tap

Someone in a 2002 Buick LeSabre decided to give me a love tap yesterday on my way home from work. I felt the impact and immediately pulled over but wouldn't you know they just kept on driving. I followed them for a good while and make sure to get plenty of photos and video of their license plate. FHP was a big help and got me all their information including insurance information and address but their insurance company is one of those Monday-Friday 8-5 deals so I have to wait until Monday to file a claim with them.

Luckily the impact was low speed so the damage isn't too crazy but it's still urks me.

That sucks that they didn't stop. God job getting the plate so that the police could locate them.

Did the police write any tickets?

Damage is minimal and an easy fix.

The trooper said he intends to write a ticket for the collision but if they try to jerk him around he'll charge them with hit and run.
