If I hit someone at my work, I'd be sacked immediately.

Having said that, I'm neither as famous nor as interesting as Jeremy Clarkson so I think we need to hear both side before judging.

I work with talent a lot. I'm not surprised at this, nor do I think the producer should be. If you have premier talent like this, working on-location all day with no catering to support them, the producer should be sacked, absolutely.

Whilst I don't agree nor stand with Clarkson (honestly believe he's a twat actually but I didn't say that) BBC is cutting into their own flesh by suspending him. Clarkson has made this show to what it is for over a decade and there are many people out there who watch it just because of him. BBC suspending him means the show will lose popularity and will eventually die into a mere shadow of itself. It just doesn't work without Clarkson so they might as well cancel it altogether, just my 2 cents.
