Hey guys,

Have 10 days left to replace my aero turbine mufflers, what muffler sounds like stock or similar to stock. I was pulled over for my exhaust. Cop gave me a repair order and fines!! Please help! Thanks

Go to court and tell them the cop is illegally discriminating against you as they do nothing to crack down on all the a-holes on bikes with insanely loud exhausts... :shake:

I got a ticket for my exhaust, no repair order though. Went to court and the trooper didn't show up. Following year another trooper gave me a warning for the same stuff, I carry the ticket/warning with me while explaining they don't make replacement exhaust parts so had to replace with aftermarket.

That was petty as hell, you must have been doing something outlandish to get a ticket like that from PGPD of All agencies. You must've been a dick or got smart, street racing, something. I could never give anybody that I stop a ticket for that unless they started acting stupid. My advice is just go to court.

It was on route one in college park. Was not speeding nor doing anything stupid I'm never a dick to law enforcement,I did not make any smart comments.

He was behind me as the light turn green started rolling he turn the lights on I pulled to the side. 1st thing he said was is this exhaust from the factory because it's really loud ? Why are the tail pipes coming out an inch from the bumper ?

I've learned to feather the throttle to keep that BRRAAAP sound down and I get more of the muscle tone note. But I hear ya, those Aeros can be loud. I've been on the fence about replacing mine, but I haven't yet.

I hate tickets like this because it just seems like pure speculation on the officers part without any real evidence that you have a modified exhaust.

That sucks man, dude must've had some personal issues to go that petty or a stat queen. He could've at least gave you a warning or at worst a repair order. Take it to court and hope like hell he doesn't show. He probably won't or he might have 50 other ppl in there on your date for endless offenses too. Good luck with that, I wouldn't pay without a fight in court first.:argue:

Yea most likely he was having a bad day or something! That's why I kept my mouth shut lol!
