After I did a nice cleaning on the car today, I am seriously ready to just get a lawyer at this point.
Just sucks cause I love my 14 Focus ST

Long story short, I accepted the car at delivery under the premise that they would fix a few spots on the car, Scratched trim, and dirt under the paint, The car had 30something miles when I accepted it. They repainted it, ended up having dirt under, scratched a few panels up, put a nice big chip in the hood, and put a couple hundred miles on my car in the process. Either way, this is how my car has been left after many trim pieces replaced ect....

This is a chip on the drivers side A pillar from them removing and installing trim that was scratched on my car. This INFURIATES me to be honest.

This is a "Chip Repair" from a chip they caused in my hood. Great repair.

Just a bit ticked and I needed to vent. Sorry, just ticks me off. My car is only 4 months old and has been molested and I REALLY love my car, but this stuff is driving me crazy. I am a paint and detail freak and bought this car as a toy / borderline show car. This ticks me off. The plastic is still on the seats and the dealer has driven my car as many miles as I have. GAH.

I am not kidding when I said I am obsessed by keeping my car immaculate.

I am really worried about the moisture under the paint and corrosion.

Hey man, long time no hear, good to see you on the site.

Nice ST, I would be fuming just on the fact if they put on miles to my car instead of just repairing it. I would probably drop the car off and tell them to fix everything, or take the car and give you your money back. What dealer is this??

No local ford dealers where I live have a paint booth, it is all sent out. The ford dealership we deal with is right next to BMW and they have a booth, ford sends all paint work there.

Do you know ford did these repairs in house? or was it sent out. If ford fixed it, bare minimum it should have a 30 day warranty. also, do not accept ANYTHING that you are not happy with, you get put on the back burner as they already have your money. A lawyer isn't going to help. deal with the dealership, they will take care of you.

Call Ford corporate customer service, tell them the details. Dealers don't like it when corporate steps in, they will generate a case number probably and will follow up. A coworker did that when his 09 escape developed interior seat stains and there was a TSB about it and his dealer was stalling him..he called and got it taken care of and the interior seat covers were replaced. and he got a loaner from them during the fix too. it won't hurt to try it anyway.

Man, this is weird I was just wondering if you fell off the face of the earth or what. Looks like a nice car sorry for all the trouble. Start going up the chain at the dealer, and as much as we all want too, dont go in full tilt screaming at them try and just talk to them first, all the way up to the general manager.

If your car was in for the body work only, it shouldnt have any more miles on it then pulling it in and out of the shop a few times. Even if it was sent out, then the dealer needs to either handle it or tell you where it went so you can address it directly. Hope all works out in the end.

Guess this means that i cant sell 3 nerf bat whacks for a buck on that whimpala over there at the next meet anymore :(
