View Full Version : Interior Custom Work

So I'm in the process of completely updating my interior with actual leather and two-toned diamond stitched suede (seats, dash, headliner, door panels, etc.). I also want to have built - or build myself - a completely new dash cluster. The stock one is very plain and cheap. I know a lot of people have replaced the incandescent with LEDs (I have as well) and sanded down the green filters to allow custom light through. But this is really like putting a band aid on a bullet wound. I want something better, newer, classier, something that actually portrays speed, class and still has routes in the MMs lineage. So...has anyone here ever seen another MM with a completely cluster? I sure haven't. If so, pics please???

I posted that car in a thread about two weeks ago. I'm looking for custom clusters.

I googled it but nothing is coming out... I did see those custom halo headlights from one of the old threads...

I don't think that's ever been done before, but you could try using a piece of billet aluminum & Autometer gauges.

What kind of look do you want?
Digital?
Old style / vintage?

Try these guys. They have done Crown Vic gauges before, and can do custom work:

I have no experience with this site, just passing along the info.

I saw those guys. All they do is print out a sheet to replace the stock face. I'm looking for something a lot more in depth. I'll just wind up making one myself. I was just curious if anyone had ever seen it done. Guess the answer is no. Lol.

It's only a trend of I do it right and people follow it.

If you do it & it actually works, I'll most deffinately do it myself. Do you have an idea of what gauges you'd use?
