I know there was a thread on this subject before but I am opening it again given the electronics market place develops new product so quickly. Does anyone know of a 2 DIN dvd based navigation system that will replace our radio's? A great added feature would be XM satelite capability. I have found a 1 DIN Pioneer unit, not 2 DIN.

Yes, and this unit WILL fit in a Marauder in spite of some (wrong) information to the otherwise -

http://www.kenwoodusa.com/product/product.jsp?productTypeId=37&sortBy=price&productLineId=1&productId=2557

And this is the navigation system that works with the head unit --

You'll have to settle for Sirius instead of XM, though.

You can also find it discounted from the MSRP, and, dude, I've seen a demo of this unit and it is AWESOME!!! It looks great like it should be in our cars.

That Navigation system is EXACTLY what i've been looking for! Now here is the huge question. Since i'm on a limited budget for this year, do I have this navigation system installed, or do I go for the mods?

I've seen this unit as well...it is BY FAR the best looking multi-media unit that you could go with for our cars.

June, the question is one of preference. Will you be happier in a better performing car with fewer "creature comforts", or will you be happier in a car that performs like your car does now, but which has more "toys" inside?

Hmm, you guys bring up some good points. Ultimately, I think i'll have to go for the mods this year :)

Besides, i've got a map in the trunk in case I get lost............
