I would like to paint these black to get rid of the chrome look. What kinda paint could i use that would last? I would also like to paint the badges while they are on the car, ill just tape arund them to make the job as simple as possible. Has anyone done this?

Tape them off and spray with plastidip. Can take it off if decide you don't like and it lasts long time and can easily redo

Did part of the grill on our marquis. Easy stuff to use. Also did a pc for my niece.

Plasti Dip is pretty cool stuff. I have a Denim Black harley, Dipped a bunch of chrome on it. Easy to use, redo and touch up. Pretty durable too.

Matt, the front badge removes from the grille easily...just a nut in the centre. The rear you'll have to paint on the car...
