Who would like to see a marauder in F&F?

In the article it says, (and I'm paraphrasing) "Movie magic could bring the Marauder up to speed with the other vehicles, blah, blab, blah!" JBs, n Motowns definitely would blow da doors off of most of them rice burners! I'm sure there's a lot more members that would b able to too. It would be cool to see a MM in FF!

never even thought of a 'real' car getting destroyed, hose are always hollowed out fakes. One nice MM for the close ups and burn outs.

Yes, some of the cars are fakes or clones, but many of them are real. Look at the Gran Torino in Fast & Furious...and the Mustang fastback in Tokyo Drift, for starters.

The cars that get destroyed are trash-mobiles anyway... worn-out P71's, 9C1's, rice-burners and other cars that probably aren't worth the effort to repair.

Frankly, I'm surprised that nobody has used a P71-turned-Marauder in a movie yet. Ten years ago, the Merc Marauder made some significant waves as a performance car (mostly waves that the delivered car couldn't support) and the publicity might have even helped sales and thus, product life. Ford rode some similar waves with the Mustang from the "Bullitt" car chase, and Dodge is milking the "Furious" movie franchise for all it's worth.

Its not hard to make a CV look like a MM from a distance and computer generated images. I want to see a MM on Fast and Furious. Didn't someone suggest this same thing several years ago?

I wonder if you could get an aftermarket cover and put those inserts on it then take a heatgun to it. Get the plastic hot enough that the inserts will melt into the cover and leave indentations similar to OEM.
