I noticed that the instant the cop put his lights on, the stupid driver put his blinker on. He HAD to be aware the cop was there.

I drive a fair amount for my job, and most people have no concept of "others" when they're in a car...they think they're the only people on the road...

Excellent police work right there! This usually doesn't happen here, sitting in the fast lane without overtaking is against the law but also will it result in a car sitting right on your back end with its highbeams on. What we get is the middle lane drivers who just sit in the centre lane forever and since undertaking is illegal here one would have to swerve across 3 lanes of traffic to get past them.
