I'm glad they are upgrading. One of the complaints I heard was that taptalk etc didn't work on the site and that was the reason people explained why they wouldn't visit yada, yada.

I happen to like the liberty on that site. Far more liberal on rules and such.

I wished more folks would go on there. I think everyone here stays here because of the rules. Kind of, " the challenge to stay within the guide lines " outweighs actual freedom to do and say pretty much whatever you want over there. Yeah I get the history and was around for the end of it but, why not :confused:

Oh yeah, used to be quite the good time. :eek: Had some very "free & liberating" exchanges with TAF and Tallboy back in the day. Actually might have got a little too free. At one point they were planning to hunt me down and kick in the door of one of our vehicles and starting tracking my IP address to see if anyone lived near me who could do the deed. I made the mortal mistake of mentioning that along with owning several Ford-Mercury cars, we also owned a Nisson Titan pick up....and we liked it! It got ugly fast :D....but it's all good now, actually sort of funny. TAF eventually got banned (not anything to do with me or that episode) and Tallboy and I buried the hatchet. Turns out he and Dave P. are pretty cool guys. I still check in there every once in a while so glad they'll be back.

According to Dave on MCM's Facebook page, the site is being overhauled to have all the latest bells and whistles that the members have been asking for. :)

I was told a few days ago that they would like to get the site back up soon. Didn't say how soon that might be though.
