Anyone try these?

Looks nice won't rust - $1000 model is what I'd want. Think it's lighter than factory?

Looks a bit pricy, but custom coil overs are a lot more.
Someone buy these so they keep making them! lol ;)

Endlinks and sway bar should fit in the above picture - yes?

ShockWave Dimensions:
Center of bearing to Center of bearing:

Compressed: 11.05”
Ride Height: 12.50”
Extended: 14.30”

This is the range they say you can operate it in.The height is independent of the shock settings with the adjustable ones HQ series.

Post up when you get them! :D

The HQ ones look good...I'm tempted..I just had a $1200 tree estimate that needs a crane to take down as it is diseased and 12' from my house... I may have to sell some stock..LOL..

The compressed, ride height and extended are the same for RQ and HQ..The adjusting knob on the HQ ones is for damping not ride height setting. I emailed them.

Just looking at them , they look like an air ride type setup

Thank for looking into use on our rides. Would like to upgrade mine with 98,000 miles. Please keep us informed.

It was only a matter of time.... we will see a bunch a new spring/ airbag kits in the near future because the CV front clip is perfect for a lot of streetrod projects

A couple of Fast 'n' Loud projects used a CV sub fame.

Time for an 03+ panther for you

Ride quality: 13.5" bags with medium low dampening (boat mode)
Handle mode: 11.5" bags with firm dampening

Wonder about getting an alignment with this setup...

where are you getting these numbers from?..Those are not ride height settings, those are what the distance is between centers when bag is extended and when compressed. not when you choose a dampening postion. The RQ or regular ones have the same limits and have no adjustment. They never emailed me back from my question about using in a marauder with the same suspension components other than the Marauder spring/shock differs from CV and the height is lower than a CV. The dampening is for how firm or how soft, not the height adjustment. the collar ring is NOT adjustable per their instructions.

I have to agree this is more appropriate for the street-rod-with-panther-clip market, and probably the intended audience. The strut plate adapters look convenient for mounting a standard coil-over, however. If I were to do a coilover front setup on this car all over again I would retain all of the OEM suspension travel by building an aftermarket shock and inserting the new shock shaft through the stock strut plate rather than use the adapters.

The best handling (and usually ride also) is accomplished with coil springs and the right shock damping. Air springs have advantages in adjustable rate and load carrying capacity, not ride and handling. Unless you're looking for the low rider approach or some other unusual behavior, coils are the way to go on the front of a full-frame performance sedan.

I still run air springs in the rear, although I switched to the softer Grand Marquis rate for the moment. But I may switch back to Marauder rate. I have often though of switching to coils in the rear, but load carrying and towing are too compelling so I make the air springs work for ride and handling.
