Does anyone know what the replacement tips cost from Ford? I just spoke with a rep @ Cone Engineering (parent company of Megs) and they are $100.00 per set from the factory...seems quite reasonable...the part number is C-15-04076-2 if anyone is interested.
Not that I need them NOW, but you never know what the wife will back into... heh-heh-heh...D'OH!

RF Overlord: I had one of mine replaced by a body shop 2 weeks ago and listed $170. as the price? Insurance (thiers) paid for it so I did not look into it. It was a Ford dealer's body shop that did the work.

Wow! $170 for one? I hope that included labor...and towing...and coffee...
Seems like it might be a good idea to pick up a set from Cone just to have "in case"...

From what I can tell it's only available from ford parts as an assembly which includes exhaust pipe and mufflers. That's over $300. To get just the tips, you have to go to the manufacturer. (Cone engineering)

Picking up a spare set of tips is something to think about if you think you'll be making any exhaust mods in the future. Our tips are necked down from a much smaller exhaust pipe, and if you move up to a larger diameter, your factory tip may not be adaptable to the change.
Just a thought...
