I need to pump up my rear bags. I will do the proper fix probably next week, but for right now my back is killing me. I heard you can pump up the rear end with attaching a needle to the hose by the air compressor and manually pumping it up with an air compressor from a gas station.

What size is this needle? I'll hunt for the sensor in a few days. No time right now.

Is a needle even needed? Haven't tried this before.

Thanks in advance.

You can manually fill the bags with an outside compressor if and only if the problem you have is with your compressor. You do not have a bad compressor so you can't easily do a manual fill.

The computer needs to open the solenoids on the bags to let air into them. If the computer doesn't think they need to be filled because the sensor isn't telling it that the rear is low it won't open the solenoids.

Technically you could disconnect the power from the solenoid connect a hose and them manually open the solenoid by applying power and fill the bags that way. However that would take a lot of work some fittings and line to hook a compressor up to them and a pigtail to provide power to the solenoid.

I use to have a several paragraph description, of how to do it, I guess I deleted it, it is easier to do with two people, than one. Do a search and I'm sure you will find it.

If you plan on doing this at a gas station be careful not to use kerosene by mistake.
