The largest ship in the World presently is the Majestic Maersk, Hard to get a sense of scale but that's 23 trailer boxes wide and the ship can hold 18000( I think they may have meant 1800) of them in and on it's 1300ft+ self

All the foreign goods being shipped to the US. Don't buy them. In fact, don't even look at the pictures of the boat. :D

The Majestic Maersk is only one of a Class of "Maersk Triple E" container ships. It is the 2nd ship in the Class. There are 20 such ships in service or under construction through June 2015.

The ship is 1,312 feet long and 194 feet wide (beam) and 165,000 DWT (Dead Weight Tons).

Its capacity is listed as 18,270 TEU (Twenty Foot Equivalents)(e.g. 20' ISO container)

As shown, the ship can carry 23 wide * 7 high * 24 rows = 3,864 --- 40' ISO Containers above decks (this is 7,728 TEUs). Couldn't find how high they can stack the containers.

The Majestic Maersk was exceeded in length, displacement, and cargo mass by the former Seawise Giant, and it is currently exceeded in displacement, and cargo mass by the TI class supertankers.

The Seawise Giant (aka Knock Nevis) is considered to be the largest ship ever built at 1,504' long and 225' wide (beam). Its DWT was 564,763 tons. It was in-service from 1979 - 2010 and scrapped in 2010.

China Shipping Container Lines has ordered 5 ships with a capacity of 18,400 TEU from Hyundai Heavy Industries topping the Triple E class. Delivery is to begin in late 2014.

Other ships in the Maersk Triple E Class are:

1 Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller 4250 9619907 July 2013 in service (Lead Ship in the Triple E Class)
2 Majestic Mærsk 4251 9619919 July 2013 in service

In 2011, Maersk Line ordered 20 ships of 18,270TEU at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering in South-Korea.

Although in that picture, most of the cargo is in 40 foot long isotainers, which equal 2 TEU, so the max capacity is well over 9000 of those long boxes. Since the 03/04 Marauder is under 18 feet long, you could safely fit every 03/04 MM made on one of these ships and it would be a bit over half full.

The Maersk Majestic is also just 8 feet short of a quarter-mile long (about half of an MM length).

Coincidence that these ships also have MM as their initials?

I think not.
