Flags and Stars

Ok this may be a dumb question but I am going to ask. I see Flags below my name and I see some with stars. Can some tell me what they mean?

Flags are for supporting members/vendors..paid a fee or contributed $ towards the site. Stars are for regular members..more stars means they have hit a post number count or length of time active here. something like that.

I am a supporting member (donated $100 this morning) and have 630 posts. So, I should have three stars? Of course, if quality of the each post is part of the criteria, I'd settle for not having a donkey butt next to my name. :D
